Did You Know...

... that the videos of Round 4 feature Hayabusa's 4th highscore and a Freeflying update?

Three teams from Ireland at the World Challenge 2011
posted Apr 2nd, 2011 - The first day of the World Challenge 2011 is over. The scores of the first five rounds are posted, and the videos of four rounds are available. The NSL-TV camera also captured several teams in Round 5, but the videos will be processed and uploaded on Sunday morning.

Joey Jones wrapped up the first day with a very lively NSL Talk with the three teams from Ireland. Then he evaluated the situation at the end of the first day for the NSL News, and this video will also follow tomorrow.

It is a very interesting situation, as the table has turned between the Shamrock Showdown 2011 and the World Challenge 2011. NMP-PCH Hayabusa is just as far ahead of Arizona Airspeed as it was vice versa a few weeks ago. There is no doubt that Airspeed will try to come back with vengeance tomorrow morning, and the NSL-TV camera will be there to witness it for the audience.

Freeflying Rounds 3 and 4

The scores for round 2 are in and Its Bodyflight Animal who take the top spot with a massive 40 completed points. That is 10 more than the next best team could manage. Maybe the compulsory rounds will be the defining factor in this year’s competition?

Round 3 – Free Round So after two rounds the teams should have got rid of their nerves and have the opportunity to really show the judges the perfectly honed routines they all strive for. And they certainly didn’t disappoint with some incredible synchronicity and teamwork spread through out the field. I can only imagine it is proving difficult for the judges. The end of round 3 sees the scores closely packed together at the top of the table.

Round 4 – Compulsory After the massive separation that was achieved in round 2 once again Bodyflight Animal are able to rack up 32 points bringing home the rounds top score securing that all important 10 points and the top of the table at the end of day 1. With 5 rounds tomorrow the pressure will be on for all the teams completing 4 free rounds and only a single compulsory round.
