Did you know that the Qatar Tigers are ready for ten more years? posted: Dec 19th, 2020 The recent update from Sweden connects by coincidence with the 3-week training camp of the Qatar Tigers at Skydive City in Florida that the world-class 4-way team just completed. The NSL News had visited Tigers and coach Gary Smith earlier this month.
Echochamber and Qatar Tigers have been direct opponents at several meets in the past years, and they will challenge each other once again as soon as travel and event conditions allow bigger competitions. The Qatar Tigers are in Echochamber's way to FAI medals at future world meets and world cups.

Did you know that recent Echochamber training is showing the long expected results? posted: Dec 17th, 2020 It was not a surprise that Echochamber, Sweden's national 4-way Open Class team, were not very happy with their 2019 results at the two FAI/ISC events (Indoor World Meet - Outdoor World Cup), and the new year did not start much better with the 8th place at the Wind Games.
Echochamber had made no secret of the team's goal to win FAI medals at the next world meets and world cups, and nothing changed despite the disappointing results. Did you know that HF Flying Rebels junior Denisa Jeziakova finished with 22.2 in AAA? posted: Dec 15th, 2020 The NSL News update on December 11th included new scores and videos from the Czech Republic, where teams came back together for the next Czech World Tunnel League competition at the Hurricane Factory.
It was the first event of the new indoor winter season, after the 5-month break for the outdoor season and the restrictions of the corona virus pandemic. The same update mentioned briefly that the 4-way juniors of the HF Flying Rebels and the HF Dragonflies competed for the first time in the AAA Class.

Did you know that Rickster Powell was filming DeLand teams at the FAI World Cup 1996? posted: Dec 15th, 2020 The NSL News made several excursions into the archives at the times when the corona virus crisis had the toughest impact on the event schedules across the planet. Previously not posted scores and videos were added to the database and then to the public pages, followed by printed interviews with celebrities of Formation Skydiving competition.
The pandemic is not over yet and continues to reduce skydiving and wind-tunnel activities to an unknown level in history. However, several events took place later this year that provided contemporary content for NSL News updates, which usually have priority... (more)
Did you know that CTR Optimum's 8-way team won in Brazil without much competition? posted: Dec 14th, 2020 The NSL News reported the results of the Brazilian Outdoor Nationals 2020 with the update on November 25th. CTR Optimum won the next 4-way title after a battle with the military Cometas team. The meet was decided in two rounds (6 and 7) where the young challengers struggled with exit and slot-switching sequences.
The national championships in Brazil also include an 8-way competition that the team Action, guided by Pedro Ushizima Jr., has dominated since 2015. Team Action have represented Brazil at the world meets in 2016 and 2018.

Did you know that Vega XP have been training with Niklas Hemlin so far? posted: Dec 12th, 2020 The NSL News announced Vega XP's lineup changes on September 8th, almost exactly a year after the team's last outdoor competition in the AAA/Advanced Class competition of the USPA Nationals 2019.
Vega XP had still competed with the same lineup at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2020, where they won the gold medals in the same category. Then the team, with the two original members Annie and Ian Drennan, had plenty of time to connect with competitors who were interested in the two slots that Brandon Kashani and Nicholas Walker left behind.
