News Article Did you know that Paraclete XP scrambled for Indoor Cloud League October and November scores?
posted: Dec 3rd, 2020 The Indoor Cloud League update on December 1st reported great participation at the NSL Tunnel Kicker of the ICL Midwest team. The same update mentioned that it was more difficult for Paraclete XP's ICL team to collect scores and videos due to the busy outdoor schedule for organizers Jeana Billings and Morgan Womble in October/November. They train and compete with XPG4, the reigning U.S. indoor champions in 4-way Women. XPG4 is an outdoor team aiming at the top spot in the world with the current lineup. That's a long-term goal, and the team first has to win the next national outdoor championship... (more)
News Article Did you know that the Qatar Formation Skydiving delegation is back in training?
posted: Dec 2nd, 2020 The Qatar Tigers and Falcons are back in action. The NSL News mentioned a few times this year that Qatar's Formation Skydiving delegation was facing serious difficulties in conducting any training or competition for their world-class national 4-way and 8-way teams. The training activities were over when the teams returned to Qatar after the February camp at Skydive City in Florida. They also had to withdraw from participation at the Shamrock Showdown 2020, which was canceled due to the corona virus crisis shortly after. The Qatar teams had to stay at home and returned to training in October... (more)
News Article Did you know that the ICL Midwest team started the November leaderboard with 127 points?
posted: Dec 1st, 2020 It is not easy these days to organize events with groups of people who have to deal with the corona virus implications and restrictions. However, the strict application of recommended ways how to deal with it, such as wearing masks during activities, has made it possible to run smaller events in Formation Skydiving competition. There have been a few 4-way meets, and Indoor Cloud League scores and videos made it to the monthly leaderboards, as well. The recent 4-Way FS Skydiving Championships in Eloy attracted a total of 12 teams, who were willing and ready to follow the rules set up by Skydive... (more)
News Article Did you know that Super Sequences are almost guaranteed in the AA/Intermediate Class?
posted: Nov 30th, 2020 The NSL News coverage of the 4-Way FS Skydiving Championships concludes with the videos of the AA/Intermediate Class competition. The winner, Perris You On?, did not have a serious opponent in this category and won with a total of almost twice as much as the team in 2nd place, Rave Monsters. The Perris team would have been called a serious contender for USPA medals at national championships, after such a performance before the main 4-way event in the United States. Unfortunately, the USPA Nationals 2020 were canceled earlier this year, and the ten rounds in Eloy were only a replacement... (more)
News Article Did you know that SDC RhEvolution XP is back with a new lineup?
posted: Nov 29th, 2020 Like at USPA Nationals, the 4-Way FS Skydiving Championships included a separate Advanced Class competition, even though the NSL leaderboard has listed all AAA Class teams at this event on the same leaderboard. All three teams in Eloy (SDC RhEvolution XP, Repeat Offenders, Day 2) would probably sign up for the USPA Advanced Class competition at the national championships. In fact, the winner in Eloy, SDC RhEvolution XP, had competed in this category at the USPA Nationals 2019 and finished in 9th place of 18 teams with a 13.8 average. The 2019 event was the second national championship for... (more)
News Article Did you know that there was a tight battle for the 3rd place in Eloy?
posted: Nov 28th, 2020 The battle for the 3rd place in the 4-way Open Class competition at the 4-Way FS Skydiving Championships was much closer than the new showdown between Arizona Airspeed and SDC Rhythm XP. Bullet and XPG4 were separated by only three points. Jerry and the Jets were separated from the winner of this 4-way Open Class battle within the competition by almost exactly the same point difference (16) as SDC Rhythm XP finished behind Arizona Airspeed (17), and they won two rounds over Bullet and XPG4. Bullet was a new team with an experienced lineup, and the team members knew each other from numerous... (more)
