Did you know that Airspeed competitors of four different generations joined forces for a big-way celebration? posted: Nov 27th, 2020 The 4-Way FS Skydiving Championships at Skydive Arizona did not end with the completion of Round 10. It was the awards ceremony at the Bent Prop restaurant later in the evening that eventually concluded the event.
However, there was another special event that happened on Saturday, the second and last day of the actual 4-way competition. Skydive Arizona founder and owner Larry Hill had recently finished the restoration of his Twin Beech, a popular jump plane long ago.
He has been flying his DC3 randomly at skydiving events, as well, and he invited teams and competitors of the 4-way competition... (more)
Did you know that CTR Optimum defended the Brazilian 4-way title after a Cometas challenge? posted: Nov 25th, 2020 CTR Optimum, the Brazilian national indoor and outdoor 4-way team, was one of the last teams to finish the NSL Cloud Mondial 2020. In fact, the last rounds were almost a live event for CTR Optimum, as they completed the eleven rounds during the very last days of the event's time-frame, together with SDC Rhythm XP.
Both teams were then back in outdoor action, barely a week after completing the NSL Cloud Mondial rounds. SDC Rhythm XP traveled to Arizona for the 4-Way FS Skydiving Championships in Eloy, CTR Optimum had the national outdoor championships on the meet agenda.

Did you know that the two Super Sequences from Eloy are not unique? posted: Nov 23rd, 2020 The worldwide interest in the scores of the 4-Way FS Skydiving Championships at Skydive Arizona was naturally on a very high level, and especially the audience in Belgium followed the event very carefully. The first congratulations for the impressive performances came shortly after the conclusion of the event.
Gary Smith, David Grauwels and Joey Jones were back on Zoom a day later for a new NSL Live Talk in the Coaches Corner. They were well prepared to discuss the outcome of the event after studying the competition videos, which were posted early on Sunday morning.

Did you know that Arizona Airspeed's 29.3 is a new historic world record average? posted: Nov 22nd, 2020 The second day of the 4-Way FS Skydiving Championships at Skydive Arizona was not completely over after the big-way of AAA Class 4-way and competitors from the DC3 and the Twin Beech. This was only the end of the skydiving activities on Saturday.
There was still an award ceremony later, where Larry Hill expressed appreciation for the efforts that the 12 teams made to visit Skydive Arizona in the middle of the corona virus pandemic.

Did you know that the 4-way competition in Eloy ended with a special treat? posted: Nov 21st, 2020 The second day of the 4-Way FS Skydiving Championships at Skydive Arizona was completed easily, while the NSL News was trying to catch up. The leaderboard is complete, and NSL-TV will soon follow up with competition videos.
The day was mostly used to collect footage and information on a new computer, while it ended with a unique spectacle that was only indirectly a part of the competition. Skydive Arizona founder and owner Larry Hill was at the competition site and activated his DC3 and Twin Beech for a celebration jump.

Did you know that XPG4 and former team member Katrina Autry-Shows battle in Eloy? posted: Nov 21st, 2020 The NSL News was forced into a day of hibernation at the 4-Way FS Skydiving Championships at Skydive Arizona, due to severe technical equipment troubles. However, at least the scores could be posted on the SKYLEAGUE.COM leaderboard, and the NSL News is now catching up with additional information, videos and photos.
The competition draw in Eloy was almost the extreme opposite compared to the NSL Cloud Mondial 2020, where the participating teams were challenged with a lot of technical and memory challenges, and with slower sequences.
