News Article Did you know that bad weather did not stop 4-way competitors in the Midwest?
posted: Aug 20th, 2024 Last weekend accommodated several related 4-way activities, even though they did not all turn out the way they were planned. The second meet of the Great Lakes Skydiving League at AerOhio was completely weathered out. Four regional teams had posted scores at the first GLSL meet in June, and AA/Intermediate Class team AerOdynamics decided to move their meet practice to iFLY Detroit instead this time. AerOdynamics had trained outdoors last month and were ready to post new scores of a new competition draw for more meet practice before the USPA Nationals 2024 in September. The weather interfered,... News Article Did you know that Agera and Airbus both have their eyes on the 5th place?
posted: Aug 16th, 2024 The recent NSL News update from Norway included the scores of the national outdoor championship. As expected, and without a challenge of the DeLand Norgies this year, Agera and Thyra confirmed their national top positions in 4-way Open and 4-way Women. The videos of Thyra's ten competition rounds in Norway were featured in the same story, and the videos of Agera's performance are now available, as well. News Article Did you know that CSC Constellation XP is three points ahead of 4Action?
posted: Aug 14th, 2024 It did not take long until the next Indoor Cloud League team submitted scores and videos for the month of July, after ICL Midwest opened up last month's leaderboard. Marcella Rey's iFLY Fort Lauderdale team followed up with the same three teams who have posted scores on the ICL leaderboards consistently since the beginning of the year. Both ICL groups have two regularly participating 4-way teams who train and compete outside of the Indoor Cloud League platform, as well, CSC Constellation XP and CSC Singularity for ICL Midwest, 4Action and Volaticus for iFLY Fort Lauderdale. Additional lineups... (more)
News Article Did you know that Agera and Thyra are almost ready for the world championship?
posted: Aug 13th, 2024 Norway's national outdoor championship in Formation Skydiving competition took place without the DeLand Norgies or any variation of the historic lineup this year. Agera, Norway's current national 4-way team in 4-way Open, still had to work hard to win the 1st place at the national championships of 2023 where the Norgyx combination of DeLand Norgies and Arcteryx challenged Agera until the last round. At least original Norgies member Carl-Erik Tuv was probably present at the Geiteryggen Flyplass Skien in the southern part of Norway, where this year's national outdoor championship was held. Carl-Erik... (more)
News Article Did you know that Germany's national outdoor championship offers exciting competition on world level?
posted: Aug 11th, 2024 The NSL News has followed the 8-way drama in Germany since it started at the national outdoor championships last year. In addition to the exciting competition at the Fallschirmsportzentrum Saar it has been an interesting topic due to the fact that Germany is the defending 8-way bronze medalist after placing 3rd at the FAI Outdoor World Championships 2022. There is a very good chance that one of the two opposing German 8-way teams might defend the FAI bronze medals successfully at the FAI Outdoor World Championships 2024. The final qualification at the German Outdoor Nationals 2024 is only three... (more)
