It would fill books to cover his merits in his professional career as an eye surgeon and for skydiving as a sport. The NSL News has covered his skydiving activities with Optic Nerve many times, and also his professional work as an eye surgeon with many top competitors.

The NSL News added Dr. Joel's career story to the NSL Profiles to honor his unlimited achievements and in memory of him as one of the strongest supporters of Formation Skydiving competition.

The new NSL Profile page also offers a video file with Dr. Joel live on NSL-TV and all photos that have been stored in the NSL Archives over the years.
