The NSL News story on 21 June 2008 included already a special treat for the NSL-TV audience. Live videos of the three top teams at the indoor competition of the Paraclete XP Money Meet 2008 provided a very up close and personal perspective of world-class 4-way teams in full action.
The NSL-TV camera captured more of this exciting action when Airspeed Odyssey, Golden Knights and Perris Fury entered the flying chamber for their Round 9. This time, NSL-TV also offers the judging perspective at the same time.
The NSL-TV audience had the opportunity to compare videos from level and judging perspective already at the last round of the World Challenge 2008. The judging perspective always provides a much different view and surely looks a lot quieter. Many spectators at the Paraclete XP Money Meet said that it was exciting to watch the body motions and the battle faces just from a few feet away.
The three top teams scored the highest 10-round averages ever in the history of any indoor or outdoor 4-way competitions. Round 9 was the third-fastest sequence of the competition, and it was still a very close race between the incredible 3-way on the top of the leaderboard.
Airspeed Odyssey had just eliminated the deficit to Perris Fury in Round 8. Fury had a lead up to six points over Airspeed earlier. The Golden Knights were trailing both teams throughout the whole indoor competition. The Army team then won Round 9, and Airspeed took a 1-point lead over Perris Fury for the first time in the meet. The different videos show the fast action of Round 9. Enjoy the show.
