Did You Know...

... that Team Future has a new 4-way lineup?

Original 3-way with Daniel Perry
posted Sep 13th, 2008 - The NSL News story on 8 September 2008 explained how Team Future, with 11-year old Kayla Tinucci and her 8-year old brother Justin, has begun to copy the competition draws of the NSL Network this year. The first rounds of Team Future on the July 19 weekend were uploaded together with the story.

The unique indoor team, with two kids who want to become skydiving world champions one day and two adults, may have become more competitive since Rusty Lewis joined the team as the player coach earlier this year.

Rusty Lewis is originally from the UK and has worked for SkyVenture for many years. He trained and competed with the FSL team DeLand Scape (Pete Allum, Brian Johnson, Michael Biederman, Rusty Lewis) in 2004 and joined the Teiwaz line-up at the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2004. He has focused on his SkyVenture career ever since.

Kayla and Justin Tinucci's mother Jennifer recently informed the NSL News that Rusty Lewis has replaced Brad Cole, one of the two tunnel instructors who were in the original Team Future lineup. Rusty Lewis is now the head coach and team member at the same time.

The new lineup also copied the competition draw on the July 26 weekend. Team Future's six rounds of the AA Class competition draw, which were also done by seven teams at the outdoor events that weekend, have been uploaded and can now be viewed on NSL-TV. The sequence of Round 1 (Q-L-O-9) was identical with the AAA Class draw and had additional 30 teams flying the same sequence.

The camera angle of the Team Future videos is not one that could be used for any serious judging. However, the videos still provide great pictures of the flying and competing children who enjoy their 4-way project just as much as their freeflying. The NSL-TV audience can use a stop watch to compare the indoor and outdoor performances by the numbers.
