Did You Know...

... that the NSL News brings live coverage of XL at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championships this weekend?

Awards at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championships 2011
posted Jan 31st, 2012 - The first two competitions of the 2012 season are indoor events. Teams in the Czech Republic launched the new competition season at the Skydive Arena in Prague on January 5th, and the Paraclete XP Indoor Championships 2012 is the next one this weekend, before Skydive Arizona will host the first outdoor competition this year, the Valentine's Meet 2012.

French teams will be next with the annual Aerokart Indoor Championship, followed by the Shamrock Showdown 2012 and the World Challenge 2012. It's an early and intensive start of the 2012 season.

The NSL News launches this year's live coverage of events on the upcoming weekend in Raeford. Paraclete XP is hosting once again the annual Indoor Championships in 4way and in 8way. The first 8way indoor competition was a great success last year, with a total of nine teams, including two lineups from France.

On the way to Raeford: XL lineup of the World Challenge 2011
The first 4way competition in 2012 for the US teams brings all top contenders together right at the beginning of the year, and there is also another special feature for the XL fans. The NSL News story 15 January 2012 covered the complete XL indoor history at the World Challenge. XL has never competed with the same lineup at two consecutive meets and usually warms up only a day or two before the events.

The NSL News mentioned at the end of the article that there might be a good chance that the same 2011 lineup (Pete Allum, Steve Hamilton, Andy Delk, Brian Johnson) could get back together for the World Challenge this year. It is really happening, and even earlier than expected. XL with exactly the same lineup is competing this weekend in Raeford.

It goes even further, as XL has scheduled some indoor training before the meet and will be better prepared than ever - literally. The days are over now where XL can claim to be an untrained pickup team...

First meet with Chris Farina: SDC Rhythm XP
The NSL News is looking forward to bringing this exciting part of the Paraclete XP Indoor Championships 2012 live to the audience. However, there are other aspects of the upcoming competition that are just as interesting as the XL attendance. Arizona Airspeed will be well prepared for the XL showdown after a few days of indoor training in Raeford.

SDC Rhythm XP will compete for the first time with Chris Farina in the driver's seat. The first videos of the new Rhythm lineup were uploaded from Raeford during the tryouts for the Center Inside slot. Rhythm travels to North Carolina on Wednesday and then back to Sebastian in Florida after the competition for the start of the outdoor training season.

Golden Knights and Paraclete XP4 complete the field of top teams this weekend, and Perris Fury is the only TOP 5 team of the USPA Nationals 2011 and the Paraclete XP Indoor Championships 2011 that is not coming back this year. XL will be a good substitute team for the TOP 5 rankings.
