Did You Know...

... that NSL-TV features Paraclete XP8 celebrities up close and personal on Friday evening?

XP8 with two XL members
posted Feb 3rd, 2012 - The NSL News has moved to Raeford in North Carolina for the next three days for the live coverage of the Paraclete XP Indoor Championships 2012.

Friday was a training day, and the competition draw concluded the agenda. Most of the teams were done with the warmup flying, and the NSL Reality TV camera captured only Paraclete XP8 with a training session at the end of the day. XP8 has a very colorful lineup, and the footage features some of the team members in action, including one of the audience's favorites, Johnnie Eagle.

XL members Andy Delk and Brian Johnson are flying once again for Tim and John D'Annunzio's XP8 lineup. Arizona Airspeed member Thomas Hughes is also back with XP8. Former Golden Knights team captain John Hoover was filling a slot for the US Army team last year and is now competing with the Paraclete 8way lineup. Kirk Verner and John Eagle complete the XP8 lineup.

Also competing in 8way: Golden Knights female lineup
The Paraclete XP4 lineup has a very interesting personnel change. Former Arizona Airspeed videographer Will Pesek, who has become one of the best VFS 4way flyers in the world after his camera job for Airspeed, has taken Andy Honigbaum's XP4 slot. The NSL News will introduce him later in his new flying position on the belly.

The Golden Knights have two 8way lineups and four 4way teams at Paraclete this year. The female 4way lineup joins forces with Golden Knights Silver who consist of Golden Knights videographer, alternates and Andy Honigbaum who guides the team through the meet.

The competition draw has been posted, and the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2012 is also recording a new participation record. 16 teams compete in 4way and 10 teams in 8way. Both numbers are higher than at the previous events, and the participation in the Freeflying events is also growing. The first flying session with Round 1 tomorrow morning is scheduled for 8 am.
