Did You Know...

... that the NSL News fended off a media takeover attempt by XL members?

XL member Brian Johnson
posted Feb 5th, 2012 - Sunday morning at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championships 2012 began with a surprise for the NSL News after returning to the temporary office at Paraclete.

XL members had taken over the NSL News operation. XL and NSL News were sharing the space during the competition, and especially computer expert Brian Johnson had his eyes on the NSL computer. He had some very special story ideas that he wanted to share with the NSL News audience. Fortunataly for the potential victims of his own planned news coverage the computer was well protected...

However, any unusual postings or flaws could be caused by XL Tail Brian Johnson, as the NSL News could not be present all the time to protect the territory. The video shows the first attempt of the takeover and hacking plan early morning on Sunday. Other than that, XL behaved well and won $2,000 cash for the first time at Paraclete. The same lineup of the World Challenge 2011 finished with a 27.7 average in 2nd place, four points ahead of the Golden Knights Gold team.

Golden Knights in the Paraclete XP windtunnel - literally...
Today's first video clip features the 8way competition. The NSL-TV camera has plenty of more footage, both of the 4way and the 8way competition and also of VFS 4way and other Freeflying tricks. It will take a while until all footage will be processed and uploaded, and many stories will follow up on the event.

As Paraclete in 8way, the Golden Knights had two lineups, as well. The Gold lineup is the 8way winner of the World Cup 2011. The Black 8way lineup consists of the 4way team Silver and the female lineup.

The Gold lineup finished with a 28.9 average, almost a point higher than at the same event last year. The NSL News discussed the indoor performance with the whole Gold team members after the meet as well as with the observers from France, Martial Ferre and Damien Sorlin. The videos of the new NSL Talk will be uploaded later.
