The Paraclete Indoor Championship also includes a VFS 2way competition, plus a "Best Routine" and a "Best Trick" show. The VFS 2way competition runs parallel with the other events and has its own leaderboard and prize money ($2,000 - $1,000 - $500). The "Best Routine" and "Best Trick" shows have their time on Saturday evening when the more competitive events are over for the day and the audience can enjoy the individual performances.
The VFS 2way competition was dominated by Antigravity XP, which was not too surprising since the team members live in the Paraclete windtunnel, almost literally. Alex Verner and Josh D'Annunzio have been flying in the Paraclete tunnel air since their fathers, Kirk Verner and Tim D'Annunzio, allowed them to do so - and that was very early in their lives. The performances of the tunnel acrobats is eye candy for the audience.
Kirk Verner's second flying son needed very soft air for his "Best Tricks", while Scott Latinis teamed up with Samer Haija to show their "Best Routine". Their colorful and very funny performance deserved a special award. Scott Latinis was also the player coach for Dallas En Fuego in the 4way competition.
The Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2012 then continued Sunday morning with the remaining rounds in the four Formation Skydiving events (4way FS, 8way FS, 4way VFS, 2way VFS). Next is the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012 where the registered teams compete for a total of $7,000 in DeLand.
