Did You Know...

... that the Dubai delegation has arrived in DeLand?

DeLand weather forecast for this week
posted Mar 12th, 2012 - The next update of the runup to the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012 comes after a 2-day weather break in DeLand.

It was raining on Saturday and on Sunday, and the teams in training for the competition used the first day for some time off with a lot of shopping and other indoor activities. Shopping continued on Sunday, which was scheduled as a training day for several teams, or the second day without jumping was used for other team work that needs to be done occasionally.

Monday offered a completely different situation with the perfect spring weather that brings so may skydivers to Florida at this time of the year. The weather forecast promises pretty much dream conditions for the remainder of the week, and the NSL News online audience can get ready for a very exciting meet weekend.

Gary Smith updated the NSL News once again live on camera with the ongoings during the weather break and the activities at the dropzone on Monday morning. The NSL News had already welcomed the new arrivals before NMP-PCH Hayabusa's coach had enough time while the Belgian team was in the air.

Eliana Rodriguez and Craig Girard actually arrived with their Dubai Asaar Red and Gold teams before the weekend and had enough time to accommodate and acclimate carefully. They also used the additional time to visit the Bike Week in Daytona Beach, which runs the same week this year.

Craig Girard is jumping with Asaar Gold, as the NSL News reported earlier. Center Inside Abdulla BinShaher recently dislocated his shoulder and is not ready to train and compete yet after a surgery. Craig Girard will also fill the slot for the Dubai Asaar 8way lineup. The Dubai delegation is training 4way on Monday and will switch to 8way later.

Dubai Assar Gold
Monday was also the first warmup day for Bodyflight Voluntas from Denmark. Coach Solly Williams will begin his work with the team on Tuesday.

The NSL Newes had introduced the 2012 lineup on 19 December 2011. Voluntas needed a new Point when Flemming Borop Andersen left the team to seek out team opportunities in the USA. The new lineup is now ready for the first outdoor action.

So is Voluntas videographer Jesper Rasmussen who used to be in the Outside Center slot for the DaneZ, Demark's national 4way team between 2004 and 2006. He is now coming back as a team member in the video slot for Bodyflight Voluntas. NSL-TV will soon provide the first footage from his camera.
