Did You Know...

... that the Dubai delegation has a very busy agenda at the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012?

Working on a surprise: Polaris from Norway
posted Mar 17th, 2012 - It's another beautiful spring morning in DeLand, and the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012 is back in full swing after a perfect first day of the competition.

NSL Reality TV goes back to Friday morning and the very beginning of the 4way competition, from dirtdives before Round 1 to the boarding area and finally the landings. Arizona Airspeed had a few funny words for the NSL News after landing the Airspeed team formation of canopies as beautifully as usual. The video showed a better performance in Round 1 than the first comments indicated...

The NSL News has not covered much of the female 4way competition yet but will catch up soon. The clip shows Polaris, the Norwegian national team, during a dirtdive. Polaris is working on a surpise in this category, as the team is currently four points ahead of the Golden Knights.

Ready for Round 1 in 8way: Golden Knights and Sky Panthers Barkli
The video includes the competition draw for the 8way teams. Judge and world record holder Eric Heinsheimer supervised the draw, team captains Sean Sweeney (Golden Knights) and Oleg Shalamykhin (Sky Panthers Barkli) represented their teams.

Brian "BK" Krause, leader of the Golden Knights delegation, had commented the general 8way situation earlier on Saturday. Both teams used Friday for a few warmup jumps. The competition draw was done when all 8way teams had completed their training jumps and when the two Dubai 4way teams were ready to switch to 8way competition.

Dubai Asaar Red and Gold, with player coach Craig Girard and coach Eliana Rodriguez, have a very busy agenda. Both 4way teams completed seven rounds in 4way on Friday and then began with the dirtdive of the 8way jumps. The first 8way team from Dubai ever has a lot of work with the new 8way experience. Six 8way rounds are scheduled for Saturday before the Dubai teams go back to the remaining three rounds in 4way.
