Did You Know...

... that NSL-TV features Rounds 8 to 10, moustaches and sunglasses?

Not so serious NSL Talk with Aerodyne Aerokart
posted Mar 22nd, 2012 - It's time to go back to the aftermath of the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012.

The extended leaderboard of the TOP 3 positions now includes the point deductions in all ten rounds, and the new NSL-TV video is a double header.

It shows the three top teams with the last three rounds, which were not shown during the live coverage last weekend.

It also shows on the other screen a conversation that the NSL News had with the complete lineup of Aerodyne Aerokart. Only coach Marin Ferre was not present this time. The NSL Talk took place after the competition was over, and the French 4way world champions had finished in 3rd place.

French moustaches at the competition...
The conversation was not too serious. It was as casual as the French team took it during the competition. There was no other choice since the circumstances were as bad as it could be for Aerodyne Aerokart.

Guillaume Bernier could not leave France earlier than Thursday. Only coach Marin Ferre was at the opening ceremony, while the other team members picked up their Tail at the Orlando International Airport around midnight.

The whole team had no training and only a few hours of sleep before it was time to get ready for Round 1.

Guillaume's brother Mathieu Bernier explained that his team was not so unhappy about the free day before the competition: "We had the chance to see Universal Studios..."

However, it was a very challenging situation, and the French team still went through the whole competition without any complaints or making excuses, while they all tried to get over the jet lag. NMP-PCH Hayabusa was visiting from Europe too but arrived in DeLand over a week before the beginning of the competition for a training camp.

Rounds 8 to 10 of the TOP 3 - NSL Talk with Aerodyne Aerokart
...spreading into the female 4way competition
The video of the NSL Talk with Aerodyne Aerokart will also be a memory of a team look that may never come again. The French game faces for the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012 were different compared to earlier meets. All team members had grown moustaches during and after the recent visit at Skydive Arizona.

The NSL News does not know the details of this story. Fact is that the French members of the Aerodyne Deep Blue Defenders picked up the idea and looked quite similar at the beginning of the competition...

The moustache project must have been contagious and spread even into the Norwegian quarters where Polaris members became part of the moustache game, as well. The team looks went back to normal after the meet was completed, as the photos of the award ceremony show.
