posted Apr 7th, 2012 - The re-judging of Aerodyne Aerokart's Round 1, which ended up with only two point deductions instead of seven, continues to stir up emotions and discussions at the World Challenge 2012. It is no surprise that the emotions are now on the other side. Arizona Airspeed's Center Inside Niklas Hemlin commented very briefly: "Bulls...."

Joey Jones brought more light to Airspeed's perspective. He commented from his own experiences as a 4way world champion that the French performance in the following rounds after the debacle in Round 1 changed their approach. He said that he would just "go for it as hard as I could" in the same situation. Aerodyne Aerokart outscored Arizona Airspeed in the three following rounds.

However, Airspeed was already as much in the hunt as France may have been at this point in time. Mark Kirkby said earlier today that his team was on "attack mode" Friday afternoon to catch up with NMP-PCH Hayabusa. No matter what and how much Round 1 has changed or not, it seems to be a fact that the top teams know very well where they stand and how they approach the upcoming rounds. Strategy has become a serious part of the game.

NSL Reality TV missed the Open Class competition in Round 7 when the scores arrived later than usual. However, the camera was in the flying chamber in time to catch the female 4way competition. Team Switch, with Gary Smith and Marco Arrigo, was also a part of this video update.

The NSL News then waited for AA Class leader Hyrrokkin to capture the team's Round 7. It was bad timing since James Woods' lineup may have delivered the team's weakest round of the meet. They can blame it on the media distraction...

Arizona Airspeed members calmed themselves after Round 7 by playing chess. Mark Kirkby and Thomas Hughes had a game going. Thomas Hughes had taken over Paul Mayer's game that was in progress earlier. NSL Reality TV had better luck than with Hyrrokkin since it was just peak time of the game with a checkmate situation. The video clip shows who won...
