... that Rotor Out is the old and new Australian 4way champion?

Rotor Out 2011 lineup at the World Cup
posted Apr 10th, 2012 - The Australian Nationals 2012 took place at the Ramblers DZ in Toogoolawah, Queensland, while the rest of the world competed at the World Challenge 2012.

Four teams competed in the Open Class and six additional teams in the Australian Intermediate Class. Rotor Out, the defending AAA Class champion, won with a 17.0 average. Rotor Out came to the national championship with a new lineup after Jens Goennemann stepped down after the World Cup 2011 where the Australian team finished with a 15.9 average in 9th place.

George Attard, a former Black member who placed 2nd behind Rotor Out in 2010, has joined the team in the Point slot, and Stephanie Vaughan has moved to the Center Outside position. Craig Vaughan and George Attard were also Black team mates in 2010.

National champion lineup of 2012
The new Rotor Out member lives in Singapore, and the new lineup has traveled there for some indoor training. Rotor Out has completed 160 training jumps and six hours of tunnel time since December 2011. The team brought coach Shannon Pilcher over to Singapore and Australia in the last few months to work with the new lineup.

Rotor Out's main competition came from Team H with player coach Andy Honigbaum who used to compete with Arizona Airspeed and Paraclete XP4 and XP8. Michael Strickland, Ann-Marie Jarzebowski and Rob Thompson completed the lineup and pushed Rotor Out hard with a 16.3 average.

Rotor Out is the old and new national 4way team for Australia and will now now start the preparations for the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2012 in Dubai.
