Did You Know...

... that the Czech Rookie Class teams scored on World Challenge medal level at Sportflight?

Team Skydive Arena at the World Challenge 2012
posted Apr 16th, 2012 - The NSL News mentioned yesterday that Freeflying teams from several other windtunnels competed at the World Challenge 2012. Jan Turek and Vojtech Fikar represented the Skydive Arena in Prague, Chech Republic, and placed 13th.

The same three Czech 4way teams who had attended the March indoor meet in Prague, and who had also competed at the first two events of the 4-meet indoor series, showed up again for the last windtunnel competition at Sportflight this winter. It took place in Prague while the World Challenge 2012 was in full swing in Bedford.

The Bad Boyz finished the indoor winter season with the team's highest average after four meets. Rookie Class team Hvezdy could not repeat the 23.2 average performance in March but posted another impressive 21.9 average. The Rookie Class winner at the World Challenge 2012, Fiasco, had posted a 19.3 average in Bedford.

The second Chech Rookie Class team, Sky Walkers, was under similar pressure after posting a 15.6 average in March. The new 15.2 average is not too far from the team's highscore. The same scoring level in Bedford would still have been rewarded with the bronze medals. Maybe next year...
