Did You Know...

... that Little Big Cloud posted its first competition draw?

Al BeVier at his favorite spot
posted May 5th, 2012 - A new competition draw popped up on the front page today. It will disappear into the draw archives after the usual 24 hours where it will be stored forever.

This competition draw is neither related to this weekend nor to next week, and it is a strange one, with only one round for each competition class.

The new competition draw for the 1-round meet is not alone as a new feature on the NSL website. It comes along with a new league which runs under "Virtual" on the menu. The virtual league runs actually under "Little Cloud Skydiving", a 4way project that was launched by Northern Plains Skydiving League (NPSL) Director Al BeVier.

The NSL supports the project and has adopted it under "Little Big Cloud", as it will try to offer the same idea under the umbrella of the broad international NSL Network.

Al BeVier and NSL share the goal of bringing 4way competition to more recreational and new skydivers in the sport. Little Big Cloud is another project that helps building a bridge between the more competitive 4way community and other skydivers who have been shying away from any serious training efforts or team commitments.

Little Big Cloud offers all skydivers an opportunity to test the 4way waters without getting too wet. The project includes all four competition classes that the NSL has applied in the past years. Nevertheless, it is still a new category that actually connects the grass root level and recreational skydiving community in a different way.

A closer look at the rules show that Al BeVier tries to make it as easy as possible for any skydiver to be a part of the 4way world. He administrates the whole project on Facebook, and the links on the NSL pages provide more information how to participate. The NSL News will cover and integrate the virtual league as all other leages and events.
