Did You Know...

... that Equinox posted a new outdoor team record in Round 1?

Proper team equipment in Lithuania: Climbout with NSL Gloves...
posted Jul 17th, 2012 - Another team, the fifth one at the moment, has caught with the busiest teams of the 2012 season. Rookie Class team Exquinox from Lithuania attended the fourth meet last weekend and is now waiting for more Rookie Class scores to be posted. The video shows two of the five meet jumps, including the 17-pointer in Round 1, which is the new outdoor record score for Equinox.

FAI Judge Jurate Janusauskiene provided the scores, and the team's Center Inside, Algimantas Skuodis, reported that the weather did not allow the completion of six rounds: "As usually, the weekend weather was not good here, so we made only five jumps."

However, he said that his team had a good training week before the meet.

Exit from an Antonov 2 in Lithuania
Equinox was training during the Pociunai Boogie in Lithuania: "We were jumping from their best L410 and started looking at different exit options and some A Class blocks."

The Lithuanian team had applied a standard exit for the first formation of each sequence at the previous meets. Algimantas Skuodis said that the wider doors of the jump plane and the higher exit speed were new and still a very useful experience for his team before the meet came up:

"We returned to our home DZ for the competition and made the meet jumps from our good old AN2..."

It sounds like Equinox will soon be ready to move up into the A Class competition.
