Did You Know...

... that the race for silver medals in Denmark is as exciting as expected?

So far - so good: B-Team Veyron
posted Jul 18th, 2012 - The NSL News story on 13 July 2012 reported that the Danish Nationals 2012 are promising an exciting AAA Class competition behind the national 4way team, Bodyflight Voluntas. The championship is now in full swing, and it is just as exciting as it was expected.

Voluntas lost two points in Round 2 but has no problem pulling away from the field round by round. Veyron, the national B-Team, is holding the 2nd place after Round 4, which keeps things in order so far. However, the distance to the nearest challenger is only three points, and Veyron cannot relax yet, as three teams are still in striking distance.

Rebel team Airplay, with player coach Kjetil Nordin, former member of Norway's national 4way team in 2010, is pushing hard in 3rd place and is ahead of the national team in the female category, Danish Divas. It's a 1-point race for the bronze medals so far, and Chute ME is only two points behind the Divas. National C-Team Contrails will probably finish without any medals.

The AAA Class teams apply their own competition draw, as the meet in Denmark began a day after last weekend's NSL draw was posted. However, the three Danish A Class teams are still in the mix with the other teams on last weekend's overall leaderboard.

The A Class leaderboard is perfectly separated into three different sections. The 4-pack that competed in Kassel-Calden, Germany, has the four top spots, followed by the teams of the Northern Plains Skydiving League. The teams from Denmark are currently on the bottom of the A Class leaderboard. They still have time to improve their positions if the weather improves in Denmark. Two Danish teams are dangerously close to Random Blocks who did not score that well in Round 5...
