Did You Know...

... that the teams completed all ten rounds in Denmark?

Bodyflight Voluntas scoring progression
posted Jul 19th, 2012 - The teams in Denmark completed ten rounds, and nothing changed in the rankings at all. Bodyflight Voluntas won with the team's best performance of the year, and Denmark's national team seems to get ready for the internal Scandinavian showdown with Sweden's team Bardagi.

This year's Voluntas scores don't seem to support the team's progression to the mentioned competition with Bardagi and other teams in the middle of the international leaderboards, as the scores are lower compared to previous Voluntas lineups. However, the NSL News story on 8 May 2012 explained why the Danish national Open Class team "seems to be on track".

Voluntas now confirmed the situation, as this week's 15.5 average clearly beats the 14.9 average at the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012. The scores include the first two outdoor 20-pointers for this Voluntas lineup. Sweden's national team Bardagi has not posted any outdoor scores this year so far.

The other Danish national team in the female 4way category, Danish Divas, scored a point higher in average compared to the 10.6 in 2011. Veyron and Airplay still defended their positions on the leaderboard after Round 4 against each other and also fended off the Danish Divas who finished in 4th place.

Danish C-Team Contrails matched the team's indoor average of 8.7 at the World Challenge 2012, which shows the team's progression just as well.

Chute ME, the fourth team that was in contention for the 2nd and 3rd place, was actually a guest team and could not win Danish championship medals. Player coach Kristina Peterson, former member of US national teams in the female category who also trained with Perris Blitz, needs to remain eligible for US qualification purposes. Chute ME could not officially sign up for the championship.
