Did You Know...

... that there is more Fun Flag footage from the World Challenge 2012?

Entrance to the flying chamber
posted Jul 20th, 2012 - This year's coverage of the Fun Flag began at the World Challenge 2012 and continued a few weeks after the end of the event at Bodyflight Bedford with an update from Germany and Italy on 20 April 2012.

The last update mentioned that "the Just4Fun members first presented the Fun Flag on stage during the award ceremony and then shared it with other female 4way competitors for photo ops and a late night presentation in the FlowHouse". The story includes a short video clip that shows a part of the "late night presentation" in the FlowHouse.

The Fun Flag had surely returned to its original purpose in Bedford and brought a lot of fun to the Formation Skydiving competition community.

In the flying chamber
The coverage of the Fun Flag acitivities at the World Challenge 2012 was still not complete. Some footage became available later and has not been published yet. It's about time to catch up, especially as it provides good reasons for a few more smiles or laughs.

The Just4Fun members and their US friends of the Perris Wicked lineup took full advantage of the temporary possession of the Fun Flag. The appearance on the stage of the FlowHouse late at night was only a part of the celebrations.

They also presented the flag at several other locations of the Bodyflight Bedford facilities on the last day of the competition and before the award ceremony at night.

Acrobatics in the lobby
It appears like the Fun Flag was hidden in one of the team rooms until it was shown publicly. The Perris Wicked members had rented a team room in the basement of the building and enjoyed having the flag before it was eventually visible for everybody.

The female UK/US Fun Flag group also found a way to play with the flag right in front of the entrance to the flying chamber, obviously at a quiet time. They even took the flag into the flying chamber for a few special photo opportunities.

Finally, they added some acrobatics to the presentation in the lobby downstairs, which completed the Fun Flag story of the World Challenge 2012. The NSL News has no information where the flag is at the moment and when it will be flying again. Updates of the whereabouts are appreciated...
