The Southern California Skydiving League has not been much luckier during the complete first half of the 2012 season. Neither Skydive Elsinore nor Skydive Perris were able to pull off a successful meet so far. However, two more events are scheduled, and Dan BC expects the next one in Perris to bring back the west coast 4way magic. He recently announced the upcoming August meet and offers more information and help to recruit a lineup by e-mail:
"August 11 is now the first SCSL 4way meet of the season. Free coaching, free judging, no registration fees, just pay for your jumps and camera flyer. 4way pros Christy Frikken, Uli Stuewe and Hannah Betts will be available with tips and pointers. If you are training for the Nationals or just want to learn more about 4way you won’t want to miss it."
One of his main events is the popular P3 POWER PLAY, where he invites 4way and 8way Formation Skydiving competitors and other highly skilled individuals to perform sequences of challenging bigway formations and maneuvers. The latest P3 POWER PLAY was recently completed in Perris, and Dan BC now prepares the next event in December.
The list of participants indicates the quality of the jumps, as the names are mostly well known in the Formation Skydiving competition community.
The whole story of this quality event begins with 4way training. Dan BC in Perris, as well as John Hamilton in Elsionre, offer a new generation of future Power Players to learn more about how to get there at the SCSL meets. The coaches and player coaches for the next upcoming August meet in Perris have been through the whole process and made it to the world class top level.
Christy Frikken and Uli Stuewe are former Perris Fury members. Hannah Betts won a gold medal in the female 4way category at the World Meet 2008 in Maubeuge, France. And then there is 4way and 8way Airspeed legend Dan BC...
