The German teams used the whole weekend of great weather in Kassel-Calden to complete all ten rounds of the draw. The teams at Skydive San Marcos in Texas competed only on Saturday and were done after six rounds. To make it fair, only the first six rounds of the Usual Suspects should count for the overall standings, which would place the German AAA Class team on the top in this category.
Spaceland Lite and Dallas Khaos XP had a fierce battle for the top spot in Texas, which was even closer than it was at the first meet in Spaceland.

Both teams from Texas managed to tie one round with the German AAA Class winner last weekend but only one round between themselves. Spaceland Lite won three rounds in the Texas duel, and Dallas Khaos XP posted two highscores.
It was not really a duel in San Marcos, as Dallas En Fuego also tied the highscores for two rounds. It was the first outdoor competition for En Fuego who had also posted indoor numbers at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championships 2012 in February.

It was a very hot day with temperatures over 100 degrees in Texas, and the San Marcos staff accommodated packers and all jumpers with time to recover and rehydrate between the loads, a very welcome move in the 100 degree heat. San Marcos AA Class team Glitter Girls even thoughtfully provided snacks and iced water which were available throughout the day. The host also treated the teams to a delicious spaghetti and salad dinner at the end of the day while waiting for the judging to conclude.
Scott Latinis conducted the award ceremony by thanking teams for supporting the return of 4way competition to Skydive San Marcos after a break of several years. Host Jen Illingworth said that the large turnout of ten teams was unexpected but highly encouraging for the 4way future.
