posted Aug 22nd, 2012 - The national championship of the Czech Republic brought together most of the teams who competed at the previous meets of the regular season and two new team names.

Another new team, the one on the top of the AAA Class leaderboard, is only a new name for a lineup of competitors who have dominated 4way competition in the Czech Republic in the past decade. Lize consisted of Tomáš Beroušek (Center Outside), Jirí Jirman (Point), Jan Lukavec (Center Inside) , Štepán Tuma (Tail), with Petr Brož on camera.

They were actually the defending national champions of 2011 when they won with a 10.9 average under the Skyservice team name. This year they posted a 14.1 average for Lize after ten rounds. The team members have also competed under Skywalkers in the past.

It was a closer AAA Class competition in 2011 when the Bad Boyz had a trained lineup available. Lize walked away with the title this year and came back to the scoring level (14.6) where the team was performing with a slightly different lineup in 2008. Zbynik Živný had the Center Outside slot at that time.

Skyservice with Zbynik Živný staid together for another year and then posted a 15.9 average a year later, the highest result of a Czech 4way team in the records. Petr Brož has been filming the team under all three team names.

Skyservice/Skywalkers/Lize now seem to be on a similar track with Tomáš Beroušek and the three long time members who have been competing together at least since 2006 when they won the national championship with an 11.9 average. The current lineup posted the first scores in 2011 after a 1-year break and won the nationals with a 10.9 average.

The average is up to 14.1 a year later, and it would not be a surprise if Lize with the 2012 lineup and Tomáš Beroušek is going to challenge the team's own 15.9 record average next year.

The Bad Boyz, still without team founder Jan Klapka, won the silver medals in the team's 6th competition this year, including the indoor meets. The Relative Team finished in 3rd place with the team's best meet average of the 2012 season.

The 2012 competition season is over now in the Czech Republic. However, the top event is still to come. The NSL News is on the way to report live from Prostejov next week, host of the World Cup 2012.
