Did You Know...

... that weather and conditions are perfect for NSL News coverage from Magdeburg?

Martial Ferre at work on Thursday morning
posted Aug 23rd, 2012 - The NSL News has moved the mobile travel office to Europe, and the event coverage begins with SkyQuest Germany 2012, followed by the World Cup 2012 next week.

The weather in Magdeburg was perfect at arrival time Wednesday evening, and the AN 28 lifted ISB Air Remscheid up to competition altitude in less than ten minutes for training jumps. The weather was just as good on Thursday morning, and French 8way world champion Martial Ferre and Dave Lewis began to organize their groups, while the German 4way team resumed their training and coaching.

The weather forecast for Magdeburg is promising for the rest of the week, as well, and the host in the Czech Republic will hopefully be just as fortunate next week.

ISB Air Remscheid after a training jump
The NSL News had made another trip to visit a new skydiving center (Merseburg) in the area of former East Germany last year, which also happened to be right ahead of the World Cup 2011 in Saarlouis. Both hosts in Merseburg and Magdeburg prepared their DZs very nicely to welcome the visitors for the special events.

The AN 28 jump planes with the tail gates are busy and fast to get the participants up quickly and often, and the facilities provide easy and efficient training for the teams and convenient conditions for everybody. Of course, there is a Biergarten for entertainment after sunset, as the event takes place in Germany...

The NSL News still has to catch up with other events that happened recently, while continuing with the live coverage from Europe. Stay tuned.
