Did You Know...

... that Equinox had Rookie Class company in Lithuania?

Lithuanian teams at jump run...
posted Aug 23rd, 2012 - It happened as it was hoped for in Lithuania: a second team has joined Equinox at the meet weekends.

Lithuania ran three meets this year, which were attended only by Equinox and the country's FAI judge, Jurate JanuĊĦauskiene, before a second lineup eventually formed. Julija Grinevska, Mindaugas Civilis, Gediminas Puplevicius, Aurimas Kalinka and Piotras Bukinas on camera competed for the first time at the last meet of the 2012 season.

Both teams were planning to complete six rounds, but the weather stopped the teams once again after Round 5. Equinox member Algimantas Skuodis said that it has somehow become a 5-round rule in Lithuania...

Mag J managed to outscore two other Rookie Class teams from the MidAtlantic Skydiving League on the same weekend for the 3rd place at the team's first competition. The ReRivals from the Midwest Skydiving League finished in 2nd place, while Equinox ran away from the Rookie Class field once again.

Only the Rookie Class teams of the United Kingdom have been scoring as high as Equinox. Unfortunately, Lithuania and United Kingdom Skydiving League did not have the opportunity so far to compare their scores with each other on the same weekend.

There might be an exciting opportunity coming up though. Equinox will compete at the ESL Championship 2012, and several Rookie Class teams from the United Kingdom have registered for the event, as well. It's a great field of teams in all categories, and the NSL News will follow up soon with more information.
