Did You Know...

... that the first SkyQuest Germany day brought the first highlights for the participants?

Joined forces: Dave Lewis and Martial Ferre
posted Aug 23rd, 2012 - The NSL News goes back to SkyQuest Germany after an excursion to Lithuania earlier today.

The first day of the event turned out to become almost a highlight in itself, while there are three more days to come. The first update earlier today reported great weather and great conditions for a successful skydiving event, and nothing changed in the course of the day.

In addition, reigning 8way world cahmpion Martial Ferre and Dave Lewis from England guided many of the participants in Magdeburg to the best skydives in their career at this very early point in time. Then there was ISB Air Remscheid in training, and the German national team in the female 4way category simply impresses each observer with their great vibes and high-performance level, as the very current NSL-TV video clip shows. Petra van Osterwald edited today's footage for a short summary of the day.

ISB Air Remscheid at SkyQuest Germany 2012
Martial Ferre and Dave Lewis were working together throughout the day and communicted the progress of their groups. Then they joined forces at the end of the day to build a larger formation, and the first formation load with both AN 28 jump planes is scheduled for tomorrow morning. The pilots already demonstrated their skills of flying jump plane formations today when they took off at about the same time and got as close to each other as it is possible and safe.

The NSL News camera captured one of Martial Ferre's jumps with his group from the inside perspective and joined the 4way action later for an ISB Air Remscheid live experience.

The skydiving center at the Magdeburg Airport is a great venue and has the potential to host more events of a similar or even bigger caliber in the near future. The NSL News live coverage will continue tomorrow and throughout the weekend from Magdeburg before it will be time for a serious 4way and 8way competition in Prostejov, the World Cup 2012.
