Did You Know...

... that Team Future copied the Italian competition draw?

posted Oct 3rd, 2008 - The NSL News has followed the path of Team Future, with 11-year old Kayla Tinucci and her 8-year old brother Justin, already for quite a while. The last story was posted on 13 September 2008 and covered the recent personnel change.

New player coach Rusty Lewis seems to have brought a more competitive edge to the flying kids, as Team Future is more and more involved with the 4-way competition community, at least indirectly. The previous stories already included videos of the tunnel team where the new lineup copied the NSL competition draw of some meet weekends.

The latest video shows Team Future taking on the Italian 4-way teams in the AA Class on August 31. It is impossible to provide serious judging from the camera angle in the windtunnel, and it makes no sense to compare indoor and outdoor scores. However, the NSL News was still curious to check the team's pace.

The stop watch was only used to count the actual number of points in time. No infringements and other issues were considered for the scores that were then added to the weekend's leaderboard.

AA Class scores of the August 31 meet weekend
It must be quite a learning experience for the youngest Formation Skydiving competitors. The flying part is fun and probably easier to learn for children than for grownups. However, there are other factors involved.

It also requires physical strength and mental skills to master the AA Class dive pool and perform well in a windtunnel. Kayla and Justin Tinucci surely had some additional homework after school when they had to study the dive pool. The results of the Team Future work are now on NSL-TV, and the series of meet videos will continue.
