Did You Know...

... that Cross Keys Flashpoint went from 4.8 in May to 10.3 last weekend?

Rookie Class competitor Mariaelena Rodriguez in 2011
posted Oct 10th, 2012 - The 2012 season of the MidAtlantic Skydiving League season is over, too, and Cross Keys Flashpoint posted the only scores last weekend.

It was the 5th meet for the A Class team this year. Flashpoint launched the 2012 season with a 4.8 average in May and finished it with a 10.3 average last weekend.

The NSL News had introduced team member Mariaelena Rodriguez as a MASL Rookie Class competitor on 23 July last year. The passionate 4way fan is now in her 4th year of skydiving and is making plans for the 2013 season in the AA Class.

MASL Director Dennis Miller is still recovering from his recent accident and was hoping to be back in the middle of the meet action and run the logistics last weekend. It did not work out yet, however, he is still just as connected to his MASL community and provided the meet information.

He said that there was actually another Rookie Class team ready to go, and it got stuck on the ground all day long: "Once again, winds and license restrictions kept the Rookie Class team on the ground for the day. Flashpoint were able to just barely get four rounds in before the weather completely tanked."

Dennis Miller also commented on the progress of his A Class team: "I have to say I'm so proud of these guys. The improvement in their game is quite noticeable. The noise is all but gone on the all random dives and the blocks are looking better too."
