Polaris competed with the two best teams in the world in this category, Aerodyne Deep Blue Defenders and Golden Knights, even though the reigning world champions from France competed in the Open Class, due to the absence of Aerodyne Aerokart, the Open Class winners of 2010.
The adjusted final NSL leaderboard of the World Cup in the female 4way category might mirror quite accurately how the same teams could finish at the Mondial 2012: France and USA in a nail-biter for the gold medals and Polaris in the bronze medal position.

The NSL Reality TV camera was ready to capture the Polaris activities beginning in the morning. The Norwegian team gets up early and starts the training day in different ways. The front piece, Ellen Burchardt and Kristine Willadsen, have a special plan for their physical exercises. They are runners and have it all worked out for the camp in DeLand.
First they take their car from Solly's rental house to a coffee shop and deliver the cups at the dropzone, where it is still very quiet before sunrise. Then they drive back to the starting point at the rental house and run the same distance to the dropzone where the coffee is still hot - if they run fast enough...
Sissel Maria Finnseth is getting in touch with her Norwegian home and family online first of all. She and DeLand Norgies member Tostein Valen live together and just bought a house that requires a lot of attention. She likes to run at the end of the day. IPC Official Trude Sviggum was working on a very different project when the NSL News visited in the morning, and it is not her new house in Voss...
Steve Hamilton took some time for a new NSL Talk when the team was in the middle of a 4-jump back-to-back cycle. Topic was mainly the situation in the female 4way category a month before the trip to Dubai. The NSL Nerws will try to follow up with a few of the recent Polaris training jumps.
