posted Nov 14th, 2012 - The three LeMay brothers (Martin, Vincent, Benoit) of the Canadian national 4way team Evolution were not the only 4way competitors who attended the USPA Nationals 2012 in two different 4way events, traditional 4way and VFS 4way.

Former Arizona Airspeed videographer Will Pesek did the same and turned out to be even more successful in his double-duty challenge. Paraclete XP4 and XP8 members Kirk Verner and John D'Annunzio gave their 4way team mate great credit for his performance in traditional 4way in a live NSL Talk after the end of the 8way competition. XP4 finished in 5th place with a 19.0 average.

Will Pesek's performance in VFS 4way was once again a winning one, as his team SDC Standard XP finished in 1st place on the USPA leaderboard and outscored the three Canadian 4way flyers in this event. Will Pesek will meet them again at the Mondial 2012 where they represent Canada in both 4way events, as well. Dubai Nexus outscored Standard by one single point and will try to defend the top position in a few weeks on home turf.

Kirk Verner and John D'Annunzio put most of their efforts this year into recruiting and developing 8way teams, and their own new Paraclete XP8 lineup finished in 3rd place behind Golden Knights and Arizona Airspeed. Their focus on 8way is supported by the amazing 8way training facilities at Paraclete XP in Raeford, where space and air even allowed the first indoor 8way competitions in history.

They mentioned in the NSL Talk that four 8way lineups from France have already signed up for the next Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2013 on February 2 - 3 in Raeford, North Carolina. They will be joined by the 8way lineups from Dubai and Qatar.

Kirk Verner and John D'Annunzio have also scheduled more 8way camps in the popular 4-on-4 format and join forces with Golden Knights Brian Krause and Sean Sweeney for those 4-on-4 camps. They are scheduled for December 15-16, January 5-6, February 16-17, March 16-17, and April 20-21. The 8way groups fly two hours over the camp and are done by 3pm on Sunday. The camps are designed to provide basic and fundamental skills to get 8way fans started.

Kirk Verner and John D'Annunzio also competed with the Golden Knights in the 16way competition and won the gold medals with the GKXP lineup (Sean Sweeney, Brian Krause, Kurt Isenbarger, Matt Davidson, Josh Coleman, Larry Miller, Mike LaRoche, Justin Blewitt, Angela Nichols, Laura Dickmeyer, Dannielle Woosley, Jen Schaben, Kirk Verner, John D’Annunzio, Andy Honigbaum, Rook Nelson, Scott Janise - Alternate, Drew Starr - Camera).

Will Pesek is now focusing only on the VFS 4way event and the trip to Dubai, while Kirk Verner and John D'Annunzio are back at the Paraclete XP facilities. They will not need the new air condition for a while that they mentioned in the NSL News interview. It will soon be time to turn the heat on in North Carolina.

They are also busy recruiting new participants and lineups for the Paraclete XP Youth Indoor League. Hopefully, the first kids 4way team will enter the Paraclete XP Indoor Championships 2013 in February. The Outdoor Championship 2013 with the traditional Shamrock Showdown Skins Game is once again scheduled for the St. Patrick's Day weekend on March 15 - 17.
