posted Nov 28th, 2012 - The teams and competitors needed a lot of patience on Wednesday at the Mondial 2012. However, the first loads eventually got off the ground later in the afternoon.

The new NSL Reality TV clip still features ground activities at the beginning. Eliana Rodriguez and Craig Girard showed up at their new home DZ for lunch. They promised to take the NSL News on their own DZ Tour later on.

Most of the teams were still waiting for their official training jump, and it will take a good portion of Thursday until all registered teams will have made at least on training jump before the competition can begin. Round 1 was scheduled for Thursday if possible, and it might have to be pushed back to Friday.

It will be very interesting to see how all teams will deal with a situation that is very unusual. No team will be perfectly prepared for the logistics at this event, even after completing the training plan for the year. Team training includes competition practice, and some teams even slow down the training pace once in a while to be more realistic.

However, the pace at a major event like the Mondial 2012 is significantly slower compared to training and even to other smaller and bigger competitions. The distractions at an extremely beautiful and entertaining dropzone and the visuals in freefall will be an additional challenge for all teams and competitors. Even the Dubai home teams are not used to the special decorations and features.

No matter what, the competition will begin as soon as the training jumps have been completed, and the teams could get their first call tomorrow. The opening ceremony will follow, and Craig Girard said that it will be spectacular. It would not be a surprise after the first day at Skydive Dubai with unique meet experiences...
