Sky Panthers Barkli actually matched the 19-pointer posted by Aerodyne Maubeuge and Golden Knights and lost a point in the judging room. Germany defended the 4th place successfully, and the races for the 10th and then the 6th place are both thrillers.

The closest battle of all Formation Skydiving events is currently taking place in VFS 4way. The videos of round 1 are now available and show how Dubai Nexus took the 1-point lead.

Just as in 8way nothing changed in VFS 4way's Round 2. Team4speed and SDC Standard XP both could have made it even more exciting by winning the round by a point, but they both had a point deduction, which allowed Nexus to go into Round 3 as the leader.

The video also shows Canada Evolution who are currently in 4th place and don't have a chance for a medal. However, it is worth taking a look how the three young LeMay 4way experts master the VFS challenge while they also compete in the traditional 4way event.

They have more work in the 4way Open Class competition than they have in VFS 4way. The 4th place is secure in this event, while Sky Panthers Barkli will surely try to catch up with Evolution and father Michel LeMay who attends his last competition at the Mondial 2012.

VFS member Philippe Thibodeau is done now for today, while his three team mates go back to traditional 4way competition and Round 3. He will probably try to find the Fun Flag again, which Canada lost yesterday. Golden Knights and Arizona Airspeed worked together for the US delegation and have it in possession at the moment.
