Did You Know...

... that the Golden Knights are on the top in both of their events?

Fun Flag over the US headquarters
posted Dec 1st, 2012 - The latest NSL News update is being brought to the audience once again by Joey Jones, who has anchored several shows and a TV production of the Shamrock Showdown 2011 in the past. It was recorded in the later morning after the first rounds were completed in 8way and before the 4way teams started jumping.

The new NSL Reality TV clip also includes an early morning welcome by the crowd for Regan Tetlow who is on the microphone for the general public on competition site when the canopy pilots are swooping the Dubai pond.

Last not least, the NSL News tried to find out the current situation of the Fun Flag, and the investigation was blocked and boycotted by Arizona Airspeed members. The Fun Flag was flying over the tent of the US delegation, but it was heavily guarded. There were no serious attempts to capture it under the circumstances.

Golden Knights boarding for Round 3
VFS 4way and 8way teams were done after Round 3, which included significant moves on the top of the leaderboards. The Golden Knights benefitted from a French mistake at the end of Block 22 and created a 4-point lead. Dubai Nexus left the competition in the dust in Round 2. Team4speed is trying to catch up and reduced the difference in Round 3. The closest race is back in the 4way Open category.

The 4way teams in the traditional categories will complete Round 4 today. Round 3 brought no changes, with 27-pointers for all three top contenders. The scores of Round 4 will be posted later. French coach Marin Ferre said that his team has a slightly faster engineering than Arizona Airspeed for the sequence, and he is hoping for the first highscore - unless NMP-PCH Hayabusa takes it with the same engineering as Aerodyne Aerokart.

The Golden Knights also made a move in the female 4way category, and both US Army lineups are now in the lead.
