posted Dec 5th, 2012 - It's time for a video update in the female 4way category at the Mondial Dubai 2012. It is "only" Round 6 of the Top 6 teams, and the NSL News audience needs patience to get to the last jumps of the competition. InTime's Calire King and Dirk Venter are doing their best to provide the meet videos for the online audience.

However, today's two 4way events are over, and there was drama to the very last grip of the competition, literally. Arizona Airspeed is the new 4way world champion in the Open Class and benefitted from a penalty for an incomplete formation at the 26th scoring formation in working time.

Airspeed had the 26-pointer posted when its was NMP-PCH Hayabusa's turn on the DZ screen. Both teams were on exactly the same pace and both completed the Side Body Donut of Block 2 as the last formation within 35 seconds. Hayabusa's Point Dennis Praet then had a grip on Andy Grauwels that the judges did not like, and that was it.

There was not much drama in the female 4way competition at the end, as the Aerodyne Deep Blue Defenders also won the last round of the meet and finally finished six points ahead of the Golden Knights. However, the emotions were still just as high as they were on the Airspeed and Hayabusa sides, including tears of joy and disappointment.

The NSL Reality TV camera was right in the middle of the celebrations after the completion of Round 10 in both events, and the footage will be edited and uploaded later.

France had just collected the second set of gold medals with the 1st place of the Aerodyne Deep Blue Defenders when it was time for the Open Class finals. Aerodyne Aerokart was not in the game, and the US delegation got their first gold medals. Now it is time for the 8way competition where the Golden Knights can even it out between France and USA...
