posted Dec 6th, 2012 - Only one round of 8way competition is left to complete the whole Mondial Dubai 2012 easily in time. It was originally scheduled for Wednesday afternoon to follow Round 9. It got too late, as the desert dinner was coming up, and the last round of the meet was postponed until this morning.

Chances are little that anything will change on the top of the leaderboard. However, there is a big goal on stake. The Golden Knights have the golden opportunity to make history with an average over 22.4. The US Army team needs a 19-pointer to finish with a 22.5 average and erase the highest average of 22.4 in 1997 as the standing record.

It is not a super fast sequence in Round 10, but it surely is possible.

Dubai Asaar 8way coaches Eliana Rodriguez and Craig Girard said that their team is very excited to make it into the final round. The NSL News mentioned yesterday that the Brit Chicks missed the final round with a bad Round 9. M8Trix from the Netherlands would be the next 8way team in line to take the UK slot, and they did so with a 10-pointer.

Then came the young Dubai home team and did what seemed to be impossible after Round 8. They were ready to do Round 9 and did not really have Round 10 in their minds at that point in time. Brit Chicks and M8Trix were both two points ahead, and one of them would be likely to have a good round.

The Dubai Asaar 8way lineup did what they could do, which was an excellent 12-pointer and caught up with the Dutch team at the very last opportunity. Both teams are now in the final round, while the Brit Chicks have to watch it from the ground.
