Did You Know...

... that the new Evolution engine is running full steam in Singapore?

New 4way world champions: Arizona Airspeed in Dubai
posted Dec 14th, 2012 - The NSL News mentioned on 24 November 2012 that Arizona Airspeed's trip to Asia would not be over after the Mondial Dubai 2012. The newest leaderboard shows the just recetly crowned 4way world champion once again on the top, this time at the indoor competition in Singapore.

Airspeed was not the only team traveling from the United Arab Emirates even further southeast. Evolution from Canada and Australia's national team Rotor Out are also competing in Singapore, together with a surprise visitor from the USA, SDC Rhythm XP.

Airspeed is far ahead after five of eight rounds and will now be rewarded with $18,000 after leaving Dubai only with medals and the Excalibur sword, possibly also with the Fun Flag.

Evolution and Rhythm are fighting for the 2nd place and $12,000 or $8,000 for the 3rd place. Rotor Out and one of the French B-Teams are tied in 4th place.

Arizona Airspeed is still competing with the world champion lineup that will soon change.

One team member will leave, and the rumor mill is generating all kind of different speculations of the leaving and the new team member.

SDC Rhythm XP's personnel change was announced earlier, and the USPA silver medalist of 2012 has leaving Center Inside Chis Farina in the lineup for the last time.

He has his former Perris Fury team mate and rear piece partner Uli Steuwe back in the familiar Tail slot in Singapore, who is replacing Thiago Gomes.

Rhythm is trying to keep up with the 4th place team of the Mondial Dubai 2012, Canada's family team Evolution.

Both teams are battling for the bragging rights of being the best team in the world behind the three medal winners.

Evolution has a different lineup, as well. Center Inside Michel Lemay has stepped back after the best Evolution performance in the team's history.

Perfect ending in Dubai: Evolution with Michel Lemay
He could not have picked a better time to finally offer his slot officially to former Satori member Katie Woods. She used to be in the Point slot for Satori and has now taken the driver's seat for Evolution. The British engine is running full steam for the Canadian team, and there doesn't seem to be any setback at all.

It is the beginning of a new Evolution era, which has only one goal: Gold medals at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving.

Katie Woods brings down the Evolution average age dramatically, and the new lineup is the youngest 4way world class team in history. The road to gold medals for any 4way team will have Evolution as one of the major obstacles on the way from here on forwards.

Katie Woods has also brought up Evolution's scoring level in VFS 4way significantly. Once again, and as in Dubai, the Canadian team competes in both events and is much closer to Dubai Nexus and SDC Standard XP compared to the previous and recent outdoor competition in Dubai.

Evolution may even have a very special and unique double gold mission in the works: 1st places in 4way Open and 4way VFS. They already have two 4th places...
