It became even more interesting when a pick up team registered at the last minute. Just In Time's lineup included Mikhail Markine's team mate of 2012, Don Burnette.
Both teams and the two former Vibe members then launched a most exciting battle for the 2nd place and $2,000 cash. The special leaderboard with the highscores between the two teams shows what a battle it was. Just In Time eventually won by a total of five points.Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2013

The race between the two teams, both with new lineups, was probably helping to push the performances and scores upwards. A closer look at the leaderboard shows that SDC Rhythm XP and Just In Time both managed to keep up with the three Arizona Airspeed world champions and new member Chris Farina here and there. Rhythm, with Solly Williams filling the Center Inside slot for Christy Frikken, won Round 1 fair and square and tied Airspeed's 33-pointer in Round 5. Just In Time tied the Airspeed scores in Rounds 3 and 8.
All three teams competed with new or different lineups and very little training before the first competition this year. Airspeed continues with the same lineup and has posted the first outdoor scores in the meantime. Rhythm will compete with the complete lineup for the first time at the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2013, and Just In Time may never get together again with the same lineup.
Mikhail Markine was in the Tail slot for Vibe and did not have to do a lot of additional homework before the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship and for his new team. The NSL News had introduced him as the new Rhythm member on 11 January 2013.
Don Burnette is an even younger skydiver in the sport. He competed with Uprising in the AA/Intermediate Class at the USPA Nationals 2011. A huge step then lifted him to a 22.0 average with Rabbit Restraint at the World Challenge 2012 and to the Vibe success last year. He had as little homework as his former team mate coming back in his Point slot for Just In Time that he had with Vibe. Then he outscored Mikhail Markine in the same slot by those five points...
