It is once again a very close race. The January competition was the closest one so far in the 7-month history of the event. One single point separated the Florida and Northwest Skydiving League at the end of last month. Florida is up by three points at the moment, and the NWSL group has not posted AAA Class scores yet.
Ari Perelman, Brian Johnson, Gilles Dutrisac and Kurt Gaebel put up a 24-pointer for the Florida Skydiving League, and Deb Correia now has to find a lineup that can match up, beat the score or compensate in a different category. The pressure is on the Northwest Skydiving League.

His team mate Ali VanHoose attended the FSL Tunnel Kicker for the first time and had some 1-on-1 training with Ari Perelman before she joined the 4way lineup with Frank Arenas in the Rookie A Class. The FSL team in this category is winning by three points at the moment.
The other FSL pointgetter lineup was guided by player coach Gilles Dutrisac in the Rookie AA Class. Rebecca Kristof, Mikaela Fernandez and Robert Harris all started their 4way career with 1-on-1 training at the FSL events. Wednesday's performance was impressive, and Rebecca Kristof and Mikaela Fernandez are now also looking forward to the beginning of the outdoor season.
Bob Byrne was not at iFLY Orlando yesterday, however, Point Martin McKerrel has moved back to Florida and joined the indoor event for the first time. He was in Atlanta, Georgia, for a few years and is now ready to come back at more FSL events. He met Wind Damaged's Center Inside Joel Kmetz and Center Outside Gilles Dutrisac for a 3way reunion which also flew together the whole evening.
FSL organizer Kurt Gaebel filled the open slot that Italian team member Mario Luppa used to fly for the meet sequence, and the FSL lineup finished four points behind the NWSL team in this category. There is room for improvements and more points...
