Did You Know...

... that Natasha Montgomery delivered twin babies on April 30?

NSL Talk after the world meet in 2006
posted May 5th, 2013 - Natasha Montgomery has been featured with an NSL Profile ever since she won her 4way gold medal with DeLand Fire in Germany 2006.

The new NSL-TV clips bring back the 2006 season. DeLand Fire opened the gold medal year at the Shamrock Showdown 2006, and the first clip is showing all ten rounds. The beginning of the second clip was recorded in the middle of the world meet action in Gera, and it continues with a live NSL Talk with Natasha Montgomery back in DeLand.

She brought the 4way Excalibur sword to the NSL office where it is visible throughout the conversation. The interview finished with a look into the future of the new world champion, and Natasha Montgomery was eager to continue for a while.

Things changed in Natasha Montgomery's life, and she eventually retired from 4-way competition and then skydiving. She began to train for her pilot's license which included the challenging rating to fly helicopters. After all, she even bought her own chopper and flew with passengers.

The next time that the NSL News mentioned Natasha Montgomery's career was on September 28th, 2009. It was bad news, as it covered a helicopter crash near San Diego in California. Natasha Montgomery was the pilot of her Robinson R-44 chopper, which crashed in the rugged mountain area. However, all people on board survived and were treated only for injuries.

Natasha Montgomery was airlifted to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido and then recovered well and quickly.

Twin babies on April 30th, 2013
This time, three and a half years later, the NSL News has much happier news related to the 2006 world champion. Natasha Montgomery happily delivered two twin babies on April 30th, 2013.

She and her husband Jason Butler welcomed Micah and Olivia into the world who weighed in at 5 lbs 4 oz (Micah), and 6 lbs and 4 oz (Olivia). "Both babies and mommy are doing great", Arlo Pace reported.

The happy Montgomery/Butler family lives in Santa Barbara, CA. Mother Natasha has three other kids to take care of, as her husband Jason has brought in three of his own kids (Trevor - 15, Hannah - 12, Blake - 9).

Life has really changed for Natasha Montgomery, and chances are probably little that she will have a comeback in skydiving. However, she has made her place in skydiving history as the first female 4way world champion in the Open Class and with the record pace of four years from first jump to 4way gold medal. Congratulations from the NSL News to the happy mother and family in California.
