Did You Know...

... that Florida Tunnel Kickers have a new Shooting Star?

Florida's Indoor Cloud League group at iFLY Orlando
posted Jul 12th, 2013 - The NSL Tunnel Kickers of the Florida Skydiving League once again opened up the July leaderboard of the Indoor Cloud League. The flying session took place on Tuesday night, July 2nd, at iFLY Orlando.

FSL indoor head coach Ari Perelman put together eight different lineups for the six July sequences, with Brian Johnson, Gilles Dutrisac and Kurt Gaebel as the assistant and player coaches. Result of the first July session was the highest total number of points that any FSL or other flying group has ever collected for the monthly competition.

Florida's March team had collected 126 points as the highest total so far, and Deb Correia's Northwest team posted a total of 121 points to win the May competition at iFLY Seattle. 131 points is now the new highscore.

The video shows the best sequences of all eight lineups at iFLY Orlando. Ari Perelman had two lineups for the Rookie A Class sequence, and also two teams for the A Class. The other four lineups had to master one category sequence each.

The four player coaches added a special challenge to this month's first Indoor Cloud League session. They switched their slots each time for a new flying session with the same sequence. They had three opportunities to enjoy a new slot and learn it as quickly as possible. The result was still the same each time around - 17 points for the AAA Class category.

One of the Rookie A Class lineups deserved once again special attention. It was not too long ago that the NSL News reported a special evening for Erica Gorski. The story on 10 May 2013 explained how she went from 1-on-1 training to 4way competition the same night.

Live Sun Path Products NSL News Talk with Ari Perelman
Last Tuesday, it was Alixandra Raymond who entered the flying chamber for some 1-on-1 training with Ari Perelman. She had visited earlier NSL Tunnel Kicker events, but only to watch others fly and to take the famous group photos at the end of the flying session.

Ari Perelman had her ready when it was time for competition, and Alixandra Raymond ended up in one of the two Rookie A Class lineups. Erica Gorski was in the same lineup with the new flyer for the last time, as the team with both very young 4way competitors easily scored higher than 20 points. Alixandra Raymond has one more time in the same category.

The second video clip includes a live Sun Path Products NSL News Talk with Ari Perelman who explains the success of the Tunnel Kicker program, which is now also applied at iFLY Seattle and will soon be launched at iFLY San Francisco Bay. Ari Perelman has recently moved to Austin, Texas, and plans to bring the same NSL indoor program soon to the new indoor facilities in Austin and Dallas.
