posted Aug 15th, 2013 - The opening ceremony of the World Cup 2013 took place at the end of the first competition day. Officials and athletes were presented to the general public on the stage near Tent City.

Three rounds were completed in 4way Open at this point in time, and NMP-PCH Hayabusa has the undisputed lead in the major event. It was still a coincidence of the ceremony order that the Belgian team ended up on the stage presented like the winning team.

The party did not last too long since the competition would resume early on Thursday morning. The 8way and VFS 4way teams were called to the DZ for the morning sessions.

NSL Reality TV features scenes of the opening ceremony, while the other video clip is showing the current leader in 4way Women with the first two rounds.

The Golden Knights had posted a 22-pointer for Round 1, while the French team was waiting for their equipment to dry out. They eventually got in the air later and followed up with a 21-pointer for the first round. The Golden Knights had the expected lead.

Then came a little surprise in Round 2 when the French Girls almost matched the 28-pointer of the French Open Class team. The 27-pointer won two points over the US Army team and brought France to the top of the leaderboard for the first time in Banja Luka.
