posted Aug 17th, 2013 - It could not have been much more exciting in the female 4way competition of the World Cup 2013. It had all the drama that can be created in a Formation Skydiving competition and more.

It was as far back as at the World Meet 2003 in Gap when the race for the gold medal required a jump-off round, which still did not break the tie. The highest score of the meet then counts to determine the winner. US national 8way team Arizona Airspeed lost the gold medals to Russia in 2003, and the Golden Knights will have now to watch the French Girls take the top spot on the podium tomorrow.

The French 27-pointer in Round 2 turned out to be the winner of the competition when the two teams could not break the tie in Round 11.

The Sun Path Products NSL News audience has the opportunity to review the battle between USA and France in 4way Women from the beginning to the end. Team videographers Scott Janise and Remy Grandcler provided the footage when the competition was over.

Both teams were obviously on exactly the same performance level, however, a competition has a winner, and it was the French team this time. Perrine Sanchez was the only French team member who competed against the same Golden Knights lineup at the Mondial Dubai 2012, together with Remy Grandcler, and they defended the top spot successfully.

The re-match may come soon at the Dubai Cup 2014 or at the latest at the Paraclete XP Indoor and Outdoor Championship 2014 in Raeford and DeLand. The Sun Path Products NSL News will follow up with several NSL Talk conversations with the winners in Banja Luka.
