posted Aug 21st, 2013 - The aftermath of the World Cup 2013 continues with another NSL Talk interview that took place shortly after the jump-off round in the female 4way category.

The drama of the competition was over, and the two teams, Aerodyne French Girls and Golden Knights, were digesting the impressions of the exciting event. Former Golden Knight Eric Heinsheimer visited the team in Tent City and agreed to join the conversation.

He has known the team members for a long time, and he remembered that Angela Nichols was even on the event site of the World Meet 1997 in Turkey. It was the legendary competition where the Golden Knights 8way lineup won the gold medals with the 22.2 average and scored the 31-pointer that still stands as the official world record for a single round.

He also knows the youngest Golden Knights member, Dannielle Woosley, from his own time with the US Army team. She was working in the human resources office when he was training and competing. Dannielle Woosley has been in 4way competition for such a short time that she could recall her whole career within one minute...

Eric Heinsheimer was known as the most reliable Tail slot wizzard and could provide Dannielle Woosley with an umlimited amount of expertise and experiences. She is the Tail for the Golden Knights.

He also had advice on how to deal with the situation: "The next meet is coming..." At the USPA Nationals 2013, the Golden Knights will try to get as close as possible to the Open Class leaderboard, and the Sun Path Products NSL News created another specific leaderboard that shows the two best 4way Women teams at the World Cup in the Open Class rankings.

However, Eric Heinsheimer was thinking of the World Meet 2014 as the next meet. That's where the next FAI gold medals will be on stake. Both teams will meet each other before, as the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2014 will bring the French top teams back to DeLand for the first serious test in the world meet year.

The Golden Knights were not too surprised that the new French lineup was already so strong. They know that the French support system generates new and young competitors all the time. Perrine Sanchez was the only team member who won gold medals at the Mondial Dubai 2012. However, all other new French Girls have been well trained before they were selected for the new lineup.

Both teams would have made it into the finals and finished in 4th place on the Open Class leaderboard of all teams who competed in Banja Luka.
