A total of 15 teams used the opportunity, ten of them in the AA/Intermediate Class, and they will soon again compete at the national championships, at least several of them.
Three of the AA Class teams may either have to sit out or find substitutes for the USPA competition. AA Class winner Jetstream Tango has SDC Rhythm XP member Steve Lefkowitz as a player coach in the lineup. USPA rules do not allow a competitor to be a member of two teams.

The situation becomes even more interesting considering the Rhythm situation in the AAA/Open Class competition at the USPA Nationals. The new Thythm lineup might not even be eligible for USPA medals. Mikhail Markine could not win a USPA gold medal with Vibe in the AAA/Advanced Class last year, and his eligibility status may not have changed in the meantime.
Vibe was on the very top of the leaderboard last year and competed only as a guest team due to Mikhail Markine's immigration status. SDC Rhythm XP may only compete as a guest team, but the team members might still not be able to compete as player coaches for their other MWSL teams at the same time.

The last leaderboard of the MWSL 2013 season needed some adjustments to show the correct ranking order. The teams completed different numbers of rounds in the three categories. Some of the teams planned to complete a 10-round meet as the last test before the national championships, while others stopped after the usual six rounds for a weekend or even earlier.
The extended leaderboard is showing the rankings after the three rounds that each team completed, and it also includes links to the meet videos. Three AA Class teams competed hard for the three top spots, while all other AA Class teams were not too far away from each other. It will now be interesting to see which of the teams will appear again on the USPA leaderboard in the Intermediate Class.
