... that Sunny Wind's second lineup had a 1987 rear piece for a jump?

Second Sunny Wind lineup in DeLand
posted Oct 28th, 2013 - The Sun Path Products NSL News reported on 17 October 2013 that the Russian team Sunny Wind prepares for the 2014 season with an extended lineup. Valery Gredasov, Valentin Ilin, Vladimir Ostanin and Alexander Tychinskiy trained together for the first two weeks in DeLand, with Vadim Niyzzov on camera.

Alexey Nevorotov and Alexey Minaev arrived at the end of the first half of the camp, and the second lineup continued for another two weeks. Alexey Nevorotov took his Tail slot, and Alexander Tychinskiy moved from Tail to Point when Valery Gredasov headed back to Russia. Alexey Minaev is the alternate for Sunny Wind, and Vadim Niyzzov is filming both lineups.

The second lineup with Alexey Nevorotov competed at the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2013 and is Sunny Wind's team for the Russian Cup 2014 in Kolomna. Valery Gredasov will compete with Valentin Ilin, Alexander Tychinskiy and Vladimir Ostanin at the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2014.

The Sunny Wind training camp with both lineups is almost over, and the Sun Path Products NSL News followed the team on a training day. Eventually, the Russian team also invited the NSL News reporter to follow the team all the way from takeoff to landing in Alexey Nevorotov's Tail slot.

Alexey Nevorotov took a break, and Sunny Wind's rear piece now consisted for one jump of two competitors who were in different national 8way teams at the same World Championship of Formation Skydiving 1987 in Brazil, Russia and Germany. Vladimir Ostanin won the first medal at a World Meet for Russia with a 3rd place in Brazil, while Germany finished in 7th place.

Videographer Vadim Niyzzov continued filming as usual and added the special footage to the material of the training camp.

Sunny Wind's lineup is a very interesting combination of world class player coaches (Valentin Ilin, Alexander Tychinskiy) and the longest standing Russian competitor Vladimir Ostanin, while Alexey Nevorotov is one of the newer 4way competitors in Russia with a total of approx. 500 jumps in 4way.

He is also the co-owner of the skydiving center in Tanay in Siberia and sponsors Sunny Wind, together with Valery Gredasov. The video shows the area in Siberia where the skydiving Center is located in summer and winter.

Winter in Siberia does not allow much jumping, while the summers are very warm. Sunny Wind will travel back to DeLand for winter and spring training. The team plans for several camps between January and April. Most of the team members will travel back and forth between Florida and Russia, while Vladimir Ostanin will make DeLand his winter home and bring his family.
