Did You Know...

... that a brave Zircon-Zircon experience gave Northern California the upper ICL hand?

NCSL group at iFLY SF Bay
posted Oct 31st, 2013 - The leaderboard of the Indoor Cloud League for the month of October has new scores. Lori Connor, who has resumed the activities of the Northern California Skydiving League after a long break of one of the early leagues in the USA, submitted videos of her group, and iFLY SF Bay has taken the 2nd place at this point in time.

The participants at iFLY SF Bay had a great battle for the honor to get the scores posted for Northern California in the Rookie AAA Class where several different groups were flying the same sequence for October. This internal competition generated a 21-pointer for the leaderboard, which tied the highscore with Florida's Rookie AAA Class lineup.

Northern California had also more than only one lineup in the Rookie AA Class and finished the month with the 16-pointer highscore in this category.

Challenging Block 18 experience rewarded with 6 ICL points
The NCSL group at iFLY SF Bay is keeping up with the scores from Florida in three of the four categories where videos have been submitted. It seems to be only a matter of time when the AAA and AA Class teams in Northern California will begin to post some competitive scores. The Northwest and Florida Skydiving League will feel new and additional pressure as soon as this is happening.

The videos and scores from iFLY SF Bay don't even include a scoring number for the Rookie A Class, even though several new flyers were performing the more challenging Rookie AA Class sequence. Florida added 25 points to the team account in this category.

Northern California and the group from the Czech Republic at the Skydive Arena in Prague were tied with a total of 51 points before the 6-pointer in the AA Class gave the NCSL group the 2nd place. It required a lineup of brave flyers at iFLY SF Bay to take on Block 18 (Zircon - Zircon). However, the painful experience with the vertical technique still turned out to be the winner between the two groups. Only the videos and scores from the Northwest group are missing.
