Fuzion had already impressed earlier with the 3rd place and an 18.9 average at the Canadian Indoor Championship 2013 at SkyVenture Montreal, and the Sun Path Products NSL News predicted on 27 June 2013 a very interesting situation in the female 4way category at the Canadian Nationals 2013, where the national team of 2012, Crimson Fox, and Torque would also be aiming at the national top spot for women.
The story on 17 July 2013 eventually presented the conclusion, and Fuzion won the qualification as the new national 4way team in the female 4way category quite easily. The story on 28 July 2013 then followed up with Canada's new position internationally.

It was Fuzion's 5th competition this year, four of them were outdoor meets, and the last one happened after a change in the lineup. Fuzion was competing at the USPA Nationals with a new team member.
Kassandra Gagnon has joined Fuzion and replaced Monika Wittmer shortly before the Canadian team traveled to Skydive Chicago in September. The 13.7 average is the starting point for the new lineup, while the high number of 12 point deductions indicates that the current Fuzion potential is higher than it may look like.
The new Fuzion lineup has another opportunity to collect competition experiences this year. Fuzion is planning to compete at the 4th Dubai Cup in December. It will be the 6th meet for the team this year and the second one with the new lineup.
Canada's national team in the Open Class, Evolution, still waits for full recovery of Martin Lemay after his shoulder surgery. Evolution will miss the trip to Dubai this year. However, Fuzion will not be alone, as Torque will also compete in Dubai. Torque is another Canadian female lineup who won the bronze medals at the national championships after a jump-off round (14-13) with Crimson Fox.
